​How We Share Safety Info

  • Booking Portal: clear safety tips, local reminders, and requirements shown during checkout.

  • On-Kiosk Signage: quick-read guidance and QR links at eye level.

  • Mandatory Safety Video: a short video plays at checkout; renters must watch and acknowledge before receiving an access code.

What We Provide

  • USCG-approved PFDs (life jackets) in multiple sizes

  • USCG required signal whistle

  • Adjustable paddles and leashes (for SUP)

  • Stable, beginner-friendly craft (rigid and packable options)

  • ADA-conscious placement with reachable controls and clear paths

  • 24/7 support—reply to your confirmation text or call anytime

Before You Paddle

  • Wear your PFD. It’s included and required by policy or law.

  • Check conditions. Wind, tides, currents, and visibility can change quickly.

  • Know your route. Launch/return from the designated location and stay within recommended areas.

  • Hydrate & protect. Water, sun protection, and footwear are strongly recommended.

  • Age & supervision. Follow posted age/minor rules; guardians must accompany minors.

On the Water

  • Stay within your ability. If conditions worsen, return early.

  • Keep distance. Give boats, swimmers, docks, and wildlife ample space.

  • No alcohol or drugs. Impairment and paddling don’t mix.

  • Respect others. Follow local right-of-way and no-wake zones.

Weather & Closures

  • We pause or restrict rentals during unsafe weather (high winds, lightning, storms) or adverse advisories.

  • If we close for safety, we’ll notify you in the booking portal and by text.

Returns

  • Return to the same location and secure gear as instructed on your phone and on the kiosk signage.

  • Report issues (damage, missing items) via the Support link in your confirmation text—no penalty for honest reporting.

  • We place kiosks with clear approaches and reachable controls, and our mobile flow supports assistive technologies.

Note: Water activities carry inherent risks. By renting, you agree to follow the safety video, on-screen guidance, and posted rules. When in doubt, don’t go out—message Support and we’ll help you rebook or refund as policy allows.
