At Lost Anchor Rentals, our mission is to make paddlesports—kayaking and paddleboarding—more accessible to everyone. Through innovative self-service kiosks, we partner with parks, RV resorts, and hotels to create convenient recreation opportunities while respecting and preserving the natural resources that make these places special.

We share the vision of our state and national park partners: to balance the preservation of natural and cultural resources with public access for outdoor enjoyment. Our kiosks extend that mission by lowering barriers to water-based recreation, encouraging healthy outdoor lifestyles, and inspiring a deeper connection with Florida’s unique waterways.

Our Founder’s Note

 

Lost Anchor Rentals was founded by Kevin Branning, a proud generational Floridian with family roots in the state dating back to 1812. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin and his wife have long shared a passion for kayaking and the water. Their personal love for Florida’s natural beauty inspired the creation of Lost Anchor Rentals, with the goal of bringing greater access to paddle sports for residents and visitors alike.
