Partner FAQ
What do we handle vs. you?
We handle install, maintenance, safety, billing, and support. You provide a small placement area.

How much space is required?
Kiosk (iKayak/iSUP): typically <8 sq ft. or Racks (rigid kayaks/sups): ~6 ft x14 ft depending on capacity.

Do we need power or internet?
No power or internet needed.

How do guests book?
Reserve online or scan the on-site QR. A few minutes before start time, guests receive a texted unlock code.
What’s included with each rental?
Craft, paddle, USCG-approved PFD, whistle and sup leash; kiosks include pump.
Who cleans and maintains?
We do scheduled checks, repairs, and sanitization. You just flag issues if you see them.
What about liability and insurance?
Digital waivers for all renters. We provide COI and list you as Additional Insured (Primary & Non-Contributory; Waiver of Subrogation). Clear Indemnity Clause.
Will this block entrances or look cluttered?
No—compact footprint, clean signage, and layouts that respect ADA clearances.

Installation time?
Site check plus a quick install—usually hours, not weeks (racks may need extra anchoring time).
Lost or damaged gear?
Covered via pre-auths and renter agreements. We manage replacements and claims.
How close to the water should it be?
Kiosks do not need to be near the water at all (iKayaks and iSUPs are fully portable and can easily be loaded into a car). For our racks, as close to the water as allowed for convenience. We propose placements that balance access, visibility, and compliance.
Permits needed?
We handle all necessary permitting.
Will this cannibalize our tours or rentals?
Typically no; it feeds higher-touch experiences and F&B/retail. For retail locations it allows for 24/7 service.
Guest support channel?
Guests reply to their confirmation text or tap Support in the web app. Our team handles issues.
On-site marketing provided?
Yes—co-branded QR signage, tent/rack cards, clings, TV slide, and a location page.
Custom branding?
Available for decals, signage, and copy. Multi-property templates supported.
Weather plan?
We can pause bookings dynamically; equipment and placements follow your site’s storm protocols.
Cost and commitment?
Commonly no-capex, rev-share. Amenity-as-a-service or custom terms available; pilot options supported.
Accessibility considerations?
We design placements to preserve clear paths and note limitations; adaptive referrals available where appropriate.
Can we host both racks and kiosks?
Yes—many sites pair a lobby-area kiosk with a waterfront rack.
How do we start?
Book a 15-minute site check. We confirm placement, power, signage, and go-live timing.
